London will be the place to be this weekend. Here’s some of the wonderful activities you could enjoy, places you could visit and shows and exhibitions you might be interested in.

Weston Air Festival Armed Forces 2017

Weston Air Festival and Armed Forces Day is back for 2017 from Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 June, with a vast array of free aerial displays, fun fair rides, military displays, an armed forces village, veterans parade and drumhead service, trade stands and activities to suit all ages. The Red Arrows, BBMF Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire and the RAF Typhoon display will take to the skies over Weston Bay on both days of the air festival.

British Flowers Week

British Flowers Week 2017 runs from Monday 19 June to Sunday 25 June – With events taking place around the country, start thinking now about what are you and your business going to do, this is a great opportunity for your business, to promote british flowers and it’s self!  A real marketing opportunity that local media will enjoy telling the story of – this year perhaps more than ever before!!

We are so excited to find out that we have been picked as one of the five winning florists for this year’s British Flowers Week! Even more of an honour to be chosen alongside the talent of the four other winners – Carly Rogers Flowers, Jennifer Pinder, Petal & Stalk and Matthew Richardson. We buy exclusively from our neighbour; the New Covent Garden Market, with a commitment to always buying British-grown flowers where possible and, as such, the British Flowers Week is an event close to our hearts. We couldn’t be more thrilled! We look forward to showing you our designs in June, which were inspired by a very inspirational person and her incredible legacy of work. In the meantime, we’re off to prepare 🙂

The Stone Roses

The Stone Roses will play Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Saturday 17 June 2017.

The legendary Manchester band confirmed the national stadium will be the only English venue they will tour next year and one of only three in the UK.
